God is good. All the time.
The past week has been an intense one for my family. I've felt a whole range of emotions in just the last week alone. My family's happy for my grandma, cos we know she's in a better place now. God's been so gracious and faithful.
God has shown me the meaning of three things in particular...
1.
let go... let God be in control
2.
be joyful in times of trial (James 1:2-4 'Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.' )
3.
agape love. God's love has been demonstrated in so many ways through His people... family, friends, churches. God's love is amazing, steady, unchanging, and irreplaceable.
The song below -my grandma's favourite song- is so meaningful. it says how God's watching over us every second, that He knows all our thoughts, He's all powerful, and truly i'm so blessed by Him.

really, God knows best. by His grace i was able to come back from kl after the service, just in time to perform for handbells concert yesterday night. i got there during the interval. i didn't want to let the alumni down by not being able to play cos it was too late to get a replacement. thanks meiping and angelina for coming, and thanks for the roses (:.
i'm thankful for the opportunity to play handbells once more yesterday.. even though it may not have sounded the way we would have liked :/. didn't really get to hear my juniors play, but their syf pieces definitely sounded good (:.
it's wonderful how different batches of ringers can get together and be at home with one another. that's something magical about mg.. how we can always return and feel so at home... it's like returning to our roots.
